Three (3) students funded under the MIRET (Mobility for Innovative Renewable Energy Technologies) project to pursue programmes of their choice, successfully defended their projects and graduated in 2022. The three (3) students are namely: Kelvin Kiprop, Erick Njeri King'ori and Achalle Joseph Tambe.
Kelvin Kiprop pursued a Master in Embedded Systems from the University of Sfax (Tunisia) and graduated upon successfully defending his thesis titled "I need it Android App". His supervisors were Mr. Soulaimen Smaoui and Mr. Arnold Kinara both from University of Sfax (Tunisia).
Erick Njeri King'ori pursued a Master of Engineering in Renewable Energy at the University of Zambia (Zambia) and graduated upon successfully defending his thesis titled "Design, fabrication and testing of a parabolic solar air heater for a greenhouse dryer". His supervisor was Dr. Isaac N. Simate.
Achalle Joseph Tambe pursued a Masters of Engineering in Renewable Energy Engineering at the University of Zambia (Zambia) and graduated upon successfully defending his thesis titled "Design and fabrication of an intelligent solar photovoltaic hybrid tunnel dryer for tomatoes with automatic temperature control and air recirculation". His supervisor was Dr. Isaac N. Simate.
