Partnering Institutions
The MIRET's partnership composition is diverse from four (4) African regions (Eastern, Southern, Central and Northern) which offers potential for promoting regional associations and enhancement of employability of graduates across the regions. The partnering universities have faculty staff with different expertise and qualification in varied complimentary fields of renewable energy which shall contribute to synergy in the academic programmes to be covered under the mobility. The language diversity is well demonstrated in the partnership, in that the partnering universities mainly use French and/or English. In addition, University of Sfax also uses Arabic as a mode of communication.
In the current partnership, Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) from five (5) African countries are: Moi University (Kenya – East African Region), Makerere University (Uganda – East African Region), University of Buea (Cameroon – Central African Region), University of Zambia (Zambia – South African Region), University of Sfax (Tunisia – North African Region).
Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt (Germany) is the EU Technical partner.
